Founded in 1990, Mesopromet is a leading private company in the production and trade of meat and meat products in Montenegro. Starting with just 2 employees, Mesopromet has grown to employ over 600 people, making it the industry leader in Montenegro and one of the largest meat producers in the Western Balkans region.

Mesopromet is 100% owned by the Franca family, which is known for its long-standing commitment to quality and sustainable development in the food sector. The company’s modern production complex spans over 60,000 m², with 23,000 m² dedicated to production facilities. The company’s annual production capacity exceeds 2,000 tons of sauce products and over 3,000 tons of fermented meat products.

Mesopromet holds all major international food safety and quality certifications, including IFS, HALAL, ISO 22000, and HACCP, and is fully licensed for export to the European Union. Its products reach over 15 countries across the region and the EU, reflecting a broad international presence and trusted brand reputation.
