Following up to the roundtables with AEO companies held throughout the Western Balkans region from June to December 2025, Mr. Genc Çeli, President of the AEO Association and board director for Albania, had a meeting on December 10, 2025, with Mr. Pajim Melani , the Deputy Director General of the Albanian Customs Directorate.
During the meeting, Mr. Çeli addressed the challenges faced by the association’s members and outlined the best practices from the region concerning the potential advantages that AEO status offers to companies. Mr. Melani provided a comprehensive overview of the advancements in the Albanian Customs , particularly in relation to information technology, aligning with the new IT strategy of customs, and expressed a strong commitment to addressing various challenges faced by Albanian AEO companies.
