GIZ RegioTrade project and the WB AEO Association Collaboration Mandate 2025-2028

The Regional Trade Facilitation project, RegioTrade, has announced its upcoming collaboration with the Western Balkans AEO Association as part of the new 2025-2028 mandate. This partnership aims to enhance trade facilitation, AEO promotion, and data-driven advocacy in the region.

Key collaboration areas include:

  • National events to promote AEO status and the association itself
  • Annual Regional Meetings with Customs Authorities
  • Capacity building and training opportunities
  • Regional trade facilitation (in partnership with the Balkan E-commerce Alliance)
  • Development of position papers for lobbying and advocacy on regional policy matters (Customs, OGAs, CRM Action Plan, and the EU Growth Plan)
  • Enhanced data-driven advocacy, including use of the AEO Monitoring App.
